What is Cctv
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) also known as video surveillance is a system in which the circuit is closed and all the elements are directly connected, This cannot be viewed by anybody outside of the circuit. The camera is the starting point for any CCTV system. The camera creates the picture that will be transmitted to the control position to enable the user monitor all areas of coverage, sensitized by cameras either in isolation or linked. The system could be linked to a Video Time Lapse recorder for automatic recording of interesting events for the purposes of playback.

Why You Should Buy A Quality CCTV System
Should the need arise for a case in a Court of Law, image quality is paramount. In around 70% of all cases, CCTV footage is found to be inadmissible as evidence in a Court of Law because the quality of the evidence is considered inadequate. This can result from the poor design, bad (blurred) image presentation which highlights the importance to seek professional advice from the outset.
You should only approach a company who can demonstrate their professionalism and experience in design and installation of CCTV systems . Most importantly, you must feel confident that the company you choose will listen to and understand your individual CCTV requirements.
Remote Surveillance Via IP
Network DVR or Web / Network Camera also know as IP Cameras, connected to the Internet or LAN and assigned with an IP address, can be monitored at a remote place (from any where in the world).
An IP camera is a networked digital video camera that transmits data over a Fast Ethernet link. IP cameras are most often used for IP surveillance, a digitized and networked version of closed-circuit television (CCTV).
Benefits of IP Camera over Analog Camera include;
- Remote administration from any location.
- Lower cabling requirement.
- Ability to easily send images and video anywhere with an internet connection.
- The ability to send alerts if suspicious activity is detected.
